So, I have to know something.  Do people over there really say smashing?
Smashing and chap in one sentence?  I just want to make sure you're not
making fun of me or being sarcastic or something else that I don't get.
I also wanted to say thanks for your "permission" about Gwen.  I think,
in a way, that is what I was getting at.  I don't know if I'm in a place
in my life where I can persue a girl, but I like having the option.  I 
know I don't NEED your permission, but it's nice to have it anyway.
